GOD IS LOVE - Poem

GOD IS LOVE   Red is the roses, v iolets are blue, Yet my heart w ill stay true to You. Yellow is the sun, grasses are green, You're more than anything I've ever seen. You were the builder of light and dark, You've done it all, and never in part. Why shouldn't I be like You?   His love runs like an ocean, And it flows down to my heart. I see the beauty of Eden, From which its splendor cannot depart. His love blossoms like flowers, And they make my whole life glow. I feel the presence of Your power In everything You own.    "Love one another a s Jesus loves you", Won't I show kindness i n all that I do? For if today we decide to look beyond the cover, And remember the question, "What are you doing for others?", Then we would be compelled to certainly make it A better food for the miserable mind, That is much sweeter than malice And the hate that thrives.   God is love! And love is from ...

GOD IS LOVE - Poem

GOD IS LOVE

Red is the roses, violets are blue,

Yet my heart will stay true to You.

Yellow is the sun, grasses are green,

You're more than anything I've ever seen.

You were the builder of light and dark,

You've done it all, and never in part.

Why shouldn't I be like You?

His love runs like an ocean,

And it flows down to my heart.

I see the beauty of Eden,

From which its splendor cannot depart.

His love blossoms like flowers,

And they make my whole life glow.

I feel the presence of Your power

In everything You own.

"Love one another as Jesus loves you",

Won't I show kindness in all that I do?

For if today we decide to look beyond the cover,

And remember the question, "What are you doing for others?",

Then we would be compelled to certainly make it

A better food for the miserable mind,

That is much sweeter than malice

And the hate that thrives.

God is love!

And love is from God!

Love is gentle, love is true,

Love is better than a rod!

We did not deserve it, did not earn it

But it still gave us life so we would make it!

And because we are loved by Jesus Christ,

God's only Son who paid the price,

We must now urge all to keep on loving.

Love is stronger and greater than everything!

Red is the roses, violets are blue,

Don't you think Love is the best to choose?

AEROPLANE - Poem

AEROPLANE Whenever I look up to the sky, And see the sun moving with time And feel the wind and the breeze And hear the noises all around me, I must see a plane soaring past, A plane cutting through the air so fast; I must gaze at it in amazement, And wonder to myself with consistence When I would fly a plane with excitement. The aeroplane travels across the world, Its speed and beauty it greatly unfurls, And the magnificence of its wings That fly quicker than the sound they sing. Its wheels you can never see, They're hidden from sight effectively.  Skillfully designed, with parts and all -  The greatest thing I ever saw. Then I go to bed and I dream Of the one thing I would love to be: I'm a pilot, and I'm flying a plane With the need to fly people as my aim. It's like for the sky I'm the king And I control the plane as I please. Immersed in the air and over the cities, The result where my ends are meeting. Listen up, my dearest friends, The world is at...

STARS IN THE DARK - Poem

STARS IN THE DARK Daytime's reign is old with time. The sun stoops slowly in a western decline. The king of night is seen a faint distance away, While awaiting the end of another day. The inhabitants of light have retired to bed, And the creatures of darkness have risen, like yeast in bread. Nighttime is here; it is full of blackness, Crickets are singing, they sing of the darkness -  The darkness that engulfs joy and brings sorrow, The darkness that makes the sight seem so narrow, The darkness that delays in bringing tomorrow. I stand on top of a high hill, And look down on the world so still: It is so dark, so dark I cannot see, I can't tell if murderers stand behind me. I wish I could turn on a source of light, A source of light that would bring on its might. I weep 'cause those in darkness cannot see, They cry for justice: "We suffer!", yet relish festivities. They enjoy the darkness the night has brought, They marvel gleefully what the black has w...
